Lizzy’s Playthings aims to make your Wish Book dreams come true. The store will buy and sell vintage dolls, toys, and collectibles that were once found in past Wish Books. “Do you remember the good ‘ole days of toys in the mall, or of waiting impatiently for the department stores to send out their Christmas catalogs of toys? The endless hours of looking longingly at the toys and making lists of what you wanted? Now you can have what you wanted then!” says co-owner, Beth Parry of Burlington, NC. “We are very excited to open a store downtown and have an opportunity to share our love of toys and the history that accompanies each one."
